Mario Giua’s boatyard has been documented in Fiumicino since at least 2000. It was here that navigator and designer Ernesto Tross built Orso Grigio, a nine-metre aluminium boat born from a personal idea of an essential, safe boat.
It’s a small episode that says a lot about the spirit of the place: hands-on experience, a direct relationship, and room for those who truly live aboard their boat.
